Do you want to move from Windows or Mac? Here you will find the best distributions of this operating system that every day is getting more popular.

There are a lot of distributions based on the same Linux operating system. I only list the ones I have tried. 

If you want to try one of them download the CD ISO and  most of them have a Live CD that you can boot directly from any Windows machine.
